Summer Reading Program Features
"WORMS"

Thursday afternoon June 19th was the day for WORMS! Summer Reading Program participants had a great time racing live worms. Provided by the library, the worms raced down the table and delighted 34 children. Librarians enjoyed the program so much they (the worms!) gave an encore performance on Friday morning for CLC programming.

Catch the Reading Bug this Summer
at the Library

Over 200 children and parents enjoyed the antics of Charlie Williams, The Noise Guy at the Library's Summer Reading Program Kick-Off on Thursday afternoon May 29 at the Minot Municipal Auditorium. The children learned how to make new sound effects from Williams as he told stories with his vocal aerobics. The Summer Reading Program will help children "Catch the Reading Bug" by providing programs and activities which explore the world of bugs.
