• GENERAL STATEMENT: If the Minot Public Library does not have the material a patron needs we will try to get the material for them from another library.

  ACCESS: The library has access to materials (more than 40,000,000 records in over 25,000 libraries) from major libraries through the MINITEX and OCLC systems.

• Most book materials are available with the exception of restricted material which includes rare books, genealogical materials, reference materials, reference books, and current best sellers, records, etc.

  CHARGES:

• When Minot Public Library borrows a book from another library, there is a $3.00 service charge.

• When the library loaning material to Minot Public Library charges any fees, the cost is passed on to the individual requesting the loan.
