Women Lead... Women Run
Posted by MPLadult on January 21, 2018

Less than 19% of North Dakota State Legislators are women. On a more local level, the Minot City Council and Ward County Commission each only have one female member. ND needs more women leaders and the Minot Public Library wants to help you become one! Join us at the Minot Public Library for an informative event Tuesday, January 23rd at 7:00 pm to discuss what is needed in order to run for a position and also find out how you can help support those who plan to run. Meet other civically engaged women and learn how you can help improve our community by filling leadership roles.

Tools can be brought to the Library during regular business hours. If you'd like a staff member to meet you at the garage, please call 852-1045 when you arrive and someone will come help you.
