Family Self Sufficiency Program (FSS) links participants with other agencies to assist with: Education, Job Training, Child Care, Transportation, Money Management, Parenting Skills, and much more. The FSS Program provides participants with personal attention, opportunities, and encouragement, work closely with them to plan their goals and help coordinate support services. HUD (Housing and Urban Development) has developed a savings incentive plan that sets aside money for FSS participants while they are earning their independence. The money becomes available to the participant upon completion of their goals and their contract. The greatest reward of the FSS Program is not only the possibility of a savings account, but the personal growth received with each successful achievement such as: Independence, Freedom, Satisfaction, Employment, Savings.
