One of the most useful digital resources that the Minot Public Library provides its patrons is Universal Class. Universal Class operates like an online university with many classes provided in a wide array of topics. Some classes include live instructors that interact with students.

The classes available range from the common such as: the American Revolution, Economics 101, Biology 101, and Algebra 101; to the unexpected such as: Anti-Aging Techniques, Angel Healing, Dog Training, Cake Baking, and Building Self Esteem.
