Computers

Public computers and internet access are available to patrons in good standing (patrons without excessive fines/fees or overdue materials). To use a computer, patrons need a library card and PIN. If you do not know your PIN, please inquire at the Circulation Desk for assistance. Visitors without a library card may get a free twenty-minute guest pass once per day. If patrons need longer than twenty minutes a Daily Guest Pass may be purchased for $2.00

In addition to computers for teens and adults, MPL’s children’s library has several computers equipped with games and limited internet access for kids 12 and under. The children’s library also features AWE computers to provide literacy-focused digital learning solutions for early learners.

The Library also provides in-house access to all library databases. These are accessible from the B computers and do not require a login.

Computers are unavailable 10 minutes before the library closes.

Wireless printing is now available for everyone on any device! Just click on this link to upload your document to print. The PrinterOn app is also available on IOS and Android for printing on a mobile phone.  Regular printing charges still apply.  You may also email print jobs to minot-pl-cl@printspots.com for color prints or minot-pl-bw@printspots.com for black and white print jobs. All prints may be received at the 2nd Floor Circulation Desk.

Scanning (B&W and Color) to a USB storage device, or to a folder accessible to our computers, is available to all Library visitors at no charge.

Lamination services are available for a cost of $.50 per pouch!  The library does offer lamination services for pages that are letter sized (8 1/2 x 11) or smaller. Interested patrons must come to the library for lamination services.
