North Central Human Service Center provides an array of quality human services which support and enhance the quality of life of vulnerable people. North Central Human Service Center serves and assists people in three basic ways: prevention, detection and treatment. No one is refused services. Adult Outpatient Services: Psychological evaluation, Behavioral analysis/intervention, Consultation, Individual, group, and family therapy, Research/outcome studies, Clinical assessment, Public education and training, Diagnostic consultations, Specialized services, Domestic violence, Sexual abuse. The North Central Human Service Center is committed to assuring that services are provided to all eligible recipients without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, political beliefs or handicap. Individuals in need of services to protect themselves from situations of abuse, neglect, or exploitation shall receive services at no charge. The center provides supervision and direction to the county social service offices, insuring that people who are in need receive economic and medical assistance as well as available social services. North Central Human Service provides counseling services, consultation, evaluations, education and prevention activities to address the problems of alcoholism and drug abuse (addictions) including intensive outpatient programs, adolescent diversion groups (minor in possession), DUI counter measure program. Assistance and counseling to rape victims is also available. Developmentally Disabled services can be addressed at the center as well as community support services for chronic mental illness.
