Services Provided

Information and Referral: Military One Source provides information and resources that can help people personally and professionally. Military One Source is a confidential service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If counseling is needed, Military One Source can arrange for people to receive up to twelve face-to-face counseling sessions free of charge.

Relocation: Meet the Airman and Family Readiness Center staff at Right Start. All newcomers are scheduled for Right Start Newcomer Orientation where they will receive information about the base and the local community.

Loan Closet: people needing dishes, pot and pans, beds or futons, car seats, strollers or other light housekeeping items until personal belongings arrive may borrow items from the Loan Closet located at the Outdoor Recreation Center.

Employment Opportunities / Career Development Check out the local job announcements, scholarship and MyCAA financial assistance information, and more in the Discovery Resource Center.

Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteering helps agencies meet their needs and the Airman and Family Readiness Center can help individuals find volunteer positions that best suit personal interests or career goals.

Air Force Aid Society Military members and their families faced with financial emergencies can receive assistance from the Air Force Aid Society. AFAS provides interest-free loans and other assistance with emergency needs for items such as basic living expenses, car repair, emergency travel, and other personal emergencies.

Personal Financial Management: The Airman and Family Readiness Center staff provides information, education, and personal financial counseling to help individuals and families maintain their financial stability and reach their financial goals.

Personal and Family Life Skills Development: We provide a wide range of services and self-improvement opportunities to Airmen and their families. Individuals and couples may utilize relationship consultation services that provide education and skill-building on a variety of topics including marital/dating concerns, parenting & adoption, stress due to a specific event, financial education, communication barriers, workplace conflict, and much more. We maintain close connections with other local resources and provide a great source of information and referral when necessary. Local agencies also use our facility to provide Childbirth Education classes, GED Preparation, English as a Second Language, and Academic Review educational issue or concern they may have. A one stop military agency. Many more areas of assistance!
