Village therapists involve families as partners in their therapy and focus on family strengths, empowering families to help themselves. Referrals may come from local county social services, self referrals or other agencies serving children. Counseling and other services occur almost entirely within the family home. Family-Based Services are provided in the family’s home and/or community by skilled and trained practitioners. All referrals typically come through the County Social Service offices, NCHSC, Partnership, and private/self referral.
