Food & Nutrition Programs

Community Action Partnership – Minot Region’s mission is to assist low income, elderly and handicapped people help themselves become economically and socially self-sufficient and overcome the causes of poverty. Eligibility is determined by income and/or extent of need.
Serves Bottineau, Ward, Renville, McHenry, Pierce, Mountrail and Burke counties.
Offer free services to all these areas which include housing counseling, budget & money management, self-reliance counseling, energy share assistance, nurturing programs, employment development programs, federal emergency food assistance program, housing energy conservation.
Also offer outreach information and referral assistance for the other human service agencies in our area depending on the client need.
All services are free to individuals that are eligible. People being helped to secure services should have proof of income available.
