Escape rooms have become a popular form of entertainment in recent years, offering participants a thrilling and immersive experience that challenges and encourages problem-solving skills and teamwork. As libraries continue to evolve and adapt to the needs of their patrons, these programs provide a unique way to engage with knowledge and foster a spirit of collaboration and curiosity. Escape rooms at the library represent an exciting fusion of education, entertainment, and community building. During the month of October, we will be hosting two (2) different experiences!
First up: Zooarama!
You and your companions have just gotten jobs as night security at the beautiful Zooarama. You are so excited! However, you’ve just heard that the Poison Dart Gang is on the move in your area again, and may be targeting your zoo. They might be after a particularly endangered frog species. You enter the zoo office to start work, only to realize that you’re are locked in! Solve the puzzles to find and slip the key to your night zookeeper to escape!
This room is geared towards teens but all are welcome and will run on October 19, 20, & 21. Registration is required. Your group can have up to 6 people.
Next up: Haunted Library!

The clock on the wall ticks ominously as you read a chilling message: “You have 25 minutes before Dracula awakens and makes you his delectable, bloody feast.” Panic sets in as you realize the only way to escape is to solve a series of cryptic puzzles and riddles scattered throughout the room. As the air grows colder and the room plunges further into darkness, the legend of Dracula becomes all too real as his haunting presence lurks just beyond the shadows. Will you outwit the ancient evil and escape the clutches of Dracula? Or will you join his unfortunate victims in the cold embrace of the night?
