The Minot Public Library’s meeting room spaces may be used by any for-profit, non-profit, civic, or cultural groups as well as individuals. Over the years, MPL has provided spaces for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, bible study groups, club meetings, small conferences, and so much more!
Meeting rooms are available during the following times:
Monday-Thursday 9:15 am- 8:45 pm
Friday 9:15 am- 5:45 pm
Saturday 10:15 am- 4:45 pm
Sunday 1:15 pm-4:45 pm
The total number of persons in a meeting room must not exceed the posted seating capacity. The seating capacities for the meeting rooms are:
Small (South) Meeting Room:
Theater Style – 44 / With Table – 31 / Children Seated on Floor – 60
Large (North) Meeting Room:
Theater Style – 80 / With Table – 74 / Children Seated on Floor – 148
Food and drink, but no alcoholic beverages, may be served, but not taken out of the rooms. Catered functions are allowable in the meeting rooms. Coffee makers are provided.
A TV, DVD player and overhead projector are provided at no charge, however, the Library does not provide personnel to operate equipment or arrange furniture. An LCD projector is available for a rental fee of $10.00. Internet access is also available.
