Patrons can now checkout new STEM Challenge kits from the Children’s section at the Minot Public Library. STEM challenge kits are plastic containers that look like board games, but teach kids problem solving skills in areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Medicine. Themes that appear in the new STEM challenge kits include folk heroes like John Henry and Paul Bunyan as well as kits that will force players to do things like build a bridge or construct a parachute. Come in to the library today to checkout a fun activity for the family to complete together!
