Upcoming Technology Workshops

In the era of technology, staying up to date is crucial. Fortunately, your local library is more than just a hub for books; it’s also a thriving center for learning and exploration. These upcoming workshops will help you navigate more of the digital landscape with confidence and just might ignite your passion for technology!

The following workshops will be held on the 2nd floor in the Makerspace and are open to all ages. Children under 8 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

Roll Printer Workshop

August 7th 2023 from 7:00-8:00 pm

Would you like to learn how to make larger documents? Come to our Roll Printer Workshop. Participants will learn how to design documents like posters and signs, and how to use our system to submit print jobs. Everyone who attends will have the opportunity to print a free poster.

Beginner Photoshop Workshop

August 14th 2023 from 7:00-8:30 pm

Have you ever wished that you knew how to use Adobe Photoshop but don’t know how? Do you not have access to the Photoshop program? Well, we can help you with both of those problems. The Makerspace PCs all have the Adobe Suite on them, including Photoshop. And, on October 17th we will be hosting a workshop on editing your first images on Photoshop. If you want to begin editing some of your images for Christmas Cards or other projects you have coming up, come join us on October 17th at 6:00 PM.
