Family Story Time
Everyone is welcome! Special guests join us for this family story time on the second Saturday of the month. We read books, sing songs, and do crafts. We are hoping this story time will help start great conversations for families. Caregivers must be present. This month we welcome local author and artist, Max Patzner!
Halloween Puppet Show
Join Barkley, the library puppet, as he gets ready for some spooktacular fun with his friends. This story time includes a story, songs, and giggles. Feel free to wear your costumes! All ages welcome. Ages 8 and under must be with a caregiver.
Minute to Win It
While your teacher is learning at the Teacher’s Convention, come to the Children’s Library and have fun competing with your buddies and individually in these fast-paced games!
Movie Matinee: Kung Fu Panda 4
The Minot Public Library will be hosting a movie matinee. Movies are open to adults and children of all ages- 8 and under MUST be with an adult. Feel free to bring your own snack and drink (with a lid)!

LEGO Club
The LEGO Club will typically meet twice a month at 6:00 pm in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library. READ Dogs
Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children toread to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 701-838-0606.
Lap Sit Story Time
This is a story time for the little ones, ages 0-3, and their caregivers. We will listen to stories, sing songs, and do fingerplays. Lap Sit Story Time will be on Wednesdays at 10:00 am in the Imagination Station.
