Family Story Time
Everyone is welcome! Special guests join us for this family story time on the second Saturday of the month. We read books, sing songs, and do crafts. We are hoping this story time will help start great conversations for families. Caregivers must be present. Check back soon for our special guest announcement!
LEGO Club
The LEGO Club will typically meet twice a month at 6:00 pm in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library. READ Dogs
Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children toread to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 701-838-0606.
Lap Sit Story Time
This is a story time for the little ones, ages 0-3, and their caregivers. We will listen to stories, sing songs, and do fingerplays. Lap Sit Story Time will be on Wednesdays at 10:00 am in the Imagination Station.
Smart Start
Smart Start is a story/activity program for children ages 3 through 5. Children and their caregiver will hear a story and then be able to take part in age-appropriate activities that relate to the story.
Maker Monday
Independent children, ages 3-6, who are able to separate from their caregiver will listen to stories and complete an activity. Space is limited, come early to get your ticket!
Movie Matinee: Super Mario Bros.
The Minot Public Library will be hosting a movie matinee. Movies are open to adults and children of all ages- 8 and under MUST be with an adult. Feel free to bring your own snack and drink (with a lid)!
Kindergarten Party
The Children’s Library will have our annual Kindergarten Party for all families with children entering Kindergarten this fall. Enjoy fun activities, story time, goody bags and more! Registration is required due to limited space. Registration ends August 9th. Call 701-838-0606 to register.

Kindness Knights is for children in grades 2-6 who are interested in learning about our community and volunteering their time to help local organizations.
