Have you heard of our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge? 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a fun early literacy challenge for children from birth to kindergarten. Make reading a regular part of your, and their, daily routine while working toward the goal of reading 1,000 books before your child starts school. Reading together from an early age supports language and brain development, listening and cognitive skills, curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth. It also provides a wonderful opportunity for families to bond, share new experiences, and build positive associations with books and reading.
You don’t have to read a book every day to reach 1,000. A few books at a time can add up! You can sign up for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten today through the Beanstack app. Simply download the app, search for Minot Public Library, click on register and fill out the required information. From there you can add multiple children and sign them up for any of the available challenges. This app will allow you to track your reading journey and celebrate any progress along the way.
And did we mention the challenge rewards? There are rewards to unlock starting right from sign up, every 50 books and upon completion of the challenge! Whether your child is three years old or just three months old, there’s no better time to start than now! Start your child’s reading journey today and help build a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning and a love of books!
