Story time programming will resume in the Children’s Library starting the week of January 26th!

The Children’s Library has three story times a week, including: Maker Monday, Smart Start, and Lap Sit Story Time. Each of these story times focus on appropriate stories and activities for different age groups. Registration is not required but space is limited, so be sure to come early and get a ticket from the Children’s desk!

The second Saturday of each month brings us Family Story Time at 10:30 am. The next Family Story Time will be on February 14th. Stop by and enjoy a Valentine’s Day puppet show featuring Barkley, the library puppet!

Looking for more reading and learning opportunities? We also have READ Dogs in the building from 4:00-5:00pm every first Tuesday of each month. Children of all ages can practice their reading skills by reading to the Reading Education Assistance Dogs (READ) for 15 minutes at a time.

Be sure to keep an eye on the calendar for school early release and vacation day activities as well!
