* The councils hold breakfasts, sell tickets at games or hold other fund-raising events to aid individuals in need. They give to charities and assist the church and its schools. The councils hold a children’s free-throw contest, essay contests and blood drives. They sponsor a halloween party and support church food pantries and right-to-life activities. The councils also have adopted highways and do roadside cleaning. Minot council’s donations include Special Olympics, Hockey Boosters, Ryan High School, Central Campus and Home on the Range in Sentinnel Butte, a home for troubled children or children from troubled families. Programs also include scholarships to Catholic colleges. Provide for welfare and needs of members. Available for banquets, weddings, anniversaries, and dinner meetings.
