Student Transition Program: The RSI Student Transition Program includes services in the areas of job exploration, workplace readiness training, work based learning experiences, self-advocacy training, and counseling on post-secondary opportunities. This program is a contract with the ND Division of Vocational Rehabilitation developed to improve transition services for youth with disabilities grade 9 through age 21 at Minot Public Schools.
Employment Programs: Offers employers qualified applicants, additional training for employees and possible federal and state tax credits. These services also offer job seekers, job search and placement assistance, and employment support increasing the capacity of success for both the employee and employer.
Housing Programs: RSI offers residential communities, assisting persons with drug or alcohol addictions (Brooklyn Flats, Recovery House), and transitional in-home living for people with chemical dependency (Brooklyn Flats). The goal of these residential programs is to provide for its residents a safe, secure environment that is conducive to the successful completion of a treatment program and/or transition to community living – thus improving quality of life. Recovery house now offers a transitional program for up to 18 months.

Work Incentives and Planning Assistance:
Social Security Benefits Planning: Provides an easy to understand link for recipients of SSI/SSDI, to the rules, regulations and laws of Social Security Benefits. Meetings may be scheduled with a Benefits Planner to provide individualized Benefit Planning when questions arise or life situations change for recipients.
ReStore: A Thrift Store providing quality merchandise to the community at discount prices. ReStore also serves as a training center for people to gain work experience and training – increasing their capacity for gainful employment within the community. RSI advocates Inclusion for all people! Volunteers are always welcome.
RSI Home: for individuals with intellectual disabilities, medically fragile or those that fall within the autism spectrum, the RSI Home provides a home atmosphere to ensure an environment for the youth we serve to thrive. Our RSI Home offers 24/7 care with integration into the community, such as school, medical, therapy, and other services to help each child in society.
