It’s Time for Summer Reading!

Summer reading is one of the biggest events for the Minot Public Library. This year’s theme is “All Together Now”.

We invite all patrons to join us this summer in signing up and participating in the summer reading program and attending our fun programs held at the library. There are programs for every age with something happening almost every day! Check out our calendar for more details. https://www.minotlibrary.org/calendar/

Summer reading begins on Thursday, June 1st. This year you will be logging how many days you have read. If you read for at least 20 minutes, you can log that day on the Beanstack app. Anything you read counts, newspapers, online articles, audiobooks, comics, and of course regular books as well! There are three (3) age categories. Children (0-11 y/o) Teen (11-17 y/o) and Adult (18+). 11 y/o may choose if they’d like to participate in either the children or teen challenge. To complete the challenge, you must log at least 30 days of reading by 9:00pm Sunday, July 30th. That’s only 10 hours of reading! Prizes will be awarded in all age categories. The last day to redeem prizes will be Saturday, August 5th. All grand prize winners will be contacted individually.

If you would like to sign up for the summer reading program, you may do so on the Beanstack app or by visiting https://minotnd.beanstack.org/reader365
