September is library card sign up month! Each year, libraries across the country celebrate the card that opens the door to endless opportunities and discoveries. With a card from Minot Public Library, you can gain FREE access to books, audiobooks, eBooks, movies, online learning resources as well as arts and recreation passes, Makerspace items and so much more.

But that’s not all, the value of a library card goes beyond the materials. It connects people to resources that enrich lives in more ways than one and represents community, connection, and opportunity. Libraries are safe, welcoming spaces where everyone belongs.

If you already have a card, this is the perfect time to remind your friends and family to get one, too. The process is quick and easy, and the rewards are endless. All one needs to do is come to the library with their photo I.D. (and verification of address if their photo I.D. is not up to date.)
