MPL is bringing you a little bit of March Madness fun, library style! Which book will be named our 2026 Champion? That’s up to YOU!

Here’s how it works,

16 of MPLs most popular books of 2025 will go head-to-head in bracket-style matchups. Each week, vote for your favorite book or the book that sounds most interesting to you! Winners advance until one ultimate champion remains!

All ages are encouraged to participate and can vote in person at the library OR online from home. Stop in to cast your vote or use this link posted below.

The tournament will run from 2/27/26-3/27/26. Each Friday the advancing books will be announced and the next round of voting will open. PLUS, every week you vote, you’ll be entered into a gift card drawing! Let the book battle begin!

The competition was incredibly close right up to the end with just 8 votes separating our finalists and determining our winner.

There were some fierce matchups, passionate voting, and a few bracket surprises. Thank you to everyone who voted, debated, and cheered for your favorites. You made this tournament an exciting and fun experience from start to finish.
