Read Across America was created by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998. This is a year round program that was created to help celebrate and promote literacy and to encourage a love of reading. Read Across America is meant to help kids learn and celebrate diversity through reading. “Readers who feel included, recognized, and a part of the world are engaged readers.”
Each year there is a big celebration in March since it is National Reading Month. On March 2nd from 4:00-5:00 the Minot Public Library will help celebrate with an hour full of fun! Enter a book drawing, make a button, get goodie bag and more. Registration is not required. All Ages are welcome.
