Amma Mamma Book Launch
Everyone is welcome! Local author, Amma Mamma, will read her new children’s book “Henry Habanero Visits His Friends”. We will also enjoy activities and a chance to purchase a book!
READ Dogs
Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children toread to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 701-838-0606.
PBS Preschool Discovery Zone
This program allows children ages 2-8 to informally learn science concepts with their favorite adult, without the pressure of understanding everything. The sessions are fun and hands-on for both you and your child, with opportunities to extend the learning at home.
Minecraft Party!
If you are in grades K-5, feel free to join us in the Imagination Station at 2:00 pm for a Minecraft Party! We will be playing Minecraft on several different systems and doing Minecraft crafts.
Kindergarten Party
It’s a celebration! We want to celebrate going to Kindergarten with the kiddos. So, we will be having storytime, treats, and fun with the new school kiddos!
Grandparent’s Tea
To celebrate National Library Week we are hosting a tea party for grandparents and their grandkids. Dress your best and come enjoy some snacks and a puppet show!
Children’s Book Reading & Creative Workshop
Join North Dakota musician and author, Jessie Veeder, for a reading of her new book “Prairie Princess.” The reading will be followed by a creative workshop.
