Disaster Preparedness
A special guest with Air Force Emergency Management, will be joining us for this interactive program to help kids learn how to stay safe during emergencies. Children, grades 2-6, will enjoy a short Story Time and take part in a scavenger hunt as well as other fun activities.
Be Who You Are Day
Children of all ages are invited to celebrate Be Who You Are Day! This drop-in event will have activities, coloring, crafts and more all designed to encourage self-expression and imagination. Come and go as you’d like and enjoy being uniquely you.
Pokémon Club
Are you interested in learning about Pokémon the game? Our club will meet every month and discuss deck building, how to play, and trading cards. We will also have fun activities. Pokémon Club is for kids ages 6-12.
Pour Paint Pinecones & Rocks
Experiment with pour painting techniques on pinecones and rocks. Your finished pieces are perfect for decorating your room, gifting to a friend, or you could leave one in the park for someone to find!
Digital Posters
Learn more about the library’s Makerspace technology as we create our own posters! We’ll help you design a poster combining traditional and digital art. At the end, you will get to take home your own creations which we’ll print with the roll printer!
Pinecone Bouquets
Create your own everlasting blooms. Paint, craft, and arrange your very own pinecone bouquet—no watering required!
Kindness Knights
Kindness Knights is for children in grades 2-6 who are interested in learning about our community and volunteering their time to help local organizations. This month we will be learning about disaster preparedness with a special guest from Air Force Emergency Management!
Family Story Time
Everyone is welcome! Special guests join us for this family story time on the second Saturday of the month. We read books, sing songs, and do crafts. We are hoping this story time will help start great conversations for families. Caregivers must be present. This month we are welcoming North Dakota author, Amma Mamma!
Succulents
We will be potting succulents and learning about their care and where they come from. These little plants are great to give or receive! We will also be playing games for a little extra fun!
Literacy in the Field
Bring your family and enjoy an evening filled with reading, fun, and fantastic opportunities! Guest readers will delight you with their favorite stories, then visit the READ Dogs to share a story with them, and connect with local organizations while engaging in fun activities and projects!
