We will be hosting local author, Barb Solberg, for an author visit and book signing! Barb is the author of “What We Leave Behind”, a story of family, unforeseen circumstances and things left behind. Books will be available for purchase at the event courtesy of Main Street Books.

One Day Book Sale

The Friends of the Minot Public Library host a One Day Book Sale on Thursday, April 27th from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm. This sale is a free will offering so shoppers are encouraged to take what they want and pay what they can – all proceeds will go to the Friends of the Library.

Black History Month: Fireside Chat

Joy-Nicole will lead a discussion about the importance of poetry with a focus on Amanda Gorman and her inauguration poem “The Hill We Climb”. This event will be geared toward adults but all are welcomed. Registration not required.

The Minot Public Library Board meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 4:15 pm in the lower level of the Library.

Annual Holiday Open House

We have rescheduled the Holiday Open House! Join us at the Minot Public Library, Thursday, January 5 from 4pm-6pm. Intro to ASL and the Deaf Community

Learn with us. This class will teach some basic communication skills and insight to the deaf community. This program will be an interactive class taught by two local community members.
