Kindness Knights is for children in grades 2-6 who are interested in learning about our community and volunteering their time to help local organizations. This month we will be decorating bags for Meals On Wheels!

Kindness Knights

Kindness Knights is for children in grades 2-6 who are interested in learning about our community and volunteering their time to help local organizations. This month we will be learning about women’s history month and making fleece tie blankets for the Domestic Violence Crisis Center. Materials donated by Minot Optimist Club.

Kindness Knights

We will help our community together and learn how to be Kindness Knights. Kindness Knights is for children grades 2-6 and will be held on Saturday, February 10th at 1:00 pm at the Taube Museum of Art.

Lap Sit Story Time

This is a story time for the little ones, ages 0-3, and their caregivers. We will listen to stories, sing songs, and do fingerplays. Lap Sit Story Time will be on Wednesdays at 10:00 am in the Imagination Station.

Smart Start

Smart Start is a story/activity program for children ages 3 through 5. Children and their parent or caregiver will hear a story and then be able to take part in age-appropriate activities that relate to the story.

Maker Monday

Maker Mondays, a story/activity program for independent children ages 3-6, will be held on Mondays at 10:00 am in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library.

LEGO Club

The LEGO Club will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library. READ Dogs

Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children toread to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 701-838-0606.

Yay for Kinder!

The Children’s Library will have our annual Kindergarten Party for all families with children entering Kindergarten on Wednesday, August 16th, at 2:00 pm.
