LEGO Game & Build

Minot Public schools are out early today! That means we are going to get together and play a LEGO game & have time for a LEGO build. This program is open to kids grades K-5. We will meet in the Imagination Station at 2:00 pm.

Grandparent’s Tea

To celebrate National Library Week we are hosting a tea party for grandparents and their grandkids. Dress your best and come enjoy some snacks and a puppet show!

Kindness Knights

We will help our community together and learn how to be Kindness Knights. During this program, we will meet at the Taube Museum of Art (2 Main Street N) on Saturday, April 9th, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. Kindness Knights is for children grades 2-6.

READ Dogs

Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children toread to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 838-0606.

LEGO Club

The LEGO Club will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library. Ancient Civilization STEM

The school has an early release today, so we are going to have some fun engineering ancient architecture out of fun supplies. This activity is for school-aged kids grades K-5.

ASK (After School Kids)

After School Kids Programs are scheduled for Mondays at 3:45 pm in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library. The activity-based programs are geared for school-age children (K-5). We do a different activity each time based on one of the STEAM principles.

Lap Sit Story Time

This is a story time for the little ones, ages 0-3, and their caregivers. We will listen to stories, sing songs, and do fingerplays. Lap Sit Story Time will be on Wednesdays at 10:00 am in the Imagination Station.

Smart Start

Smart Start is a story/activity program for children ages 2 through 5. Children and their parent or caregiver will hear a story and then be able to take part in age-appropriate activities that relate to the story.
