Open to ages 17 and under, the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization (CAPH) program is designed for children and adolescents who face varied behavioral and emotional difficulties.
CAPH is highly structured, combining basic, individualized teaching with a behavior modification program. Many issues are covered including self-esteem, self-awareness, trust, self-control, anger management, social skills, emotion regulations, relaxation, coping skills, and acceptance of authority.
Children are placed in age groups that appropriate for their level of understanding and functioning. Patients participate in individual, group, and family therapy, as well as living and social skills group. The program is open Monday through Friday during daytime hours, and lasts from four to six weeks.
