Kids Crafternoon
Since school is out, we are going to CRAFT! All our supplies will be out for kids to create their most perfect masterpieces.
Lap Sit Story Time
This is a story time for the little ones, ages 0-3, and their caregivers. We will listen to stories, sing songs, and do fingerplays. Lap Sit Story Time will be on Wednesdays at 10:00 am in the Imagination Station.
Smart Start
Smart Start is a story/activity program for children ages 3 through 5. Children and their caregiver will hear a story and then be able to take part in age-appropriate activities that relate to the story.
Maker Monday
Independent children, ages 3-6, who are able to separate from their caregiver will listen to stories and complete an activity. Space is limited, come early to get your ticket!
Beyblade Club
At Beyblade Club, we will learn about different kinds of Beyblades, strategizing, battling, sportsmanship, brackets, and scoring! LEGO Club
The LEGO Club will meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm in the Imagination Station of the Minot Public Library. Pokémon Club
Are you interested in learning about Pokémon the game? Our club will meet every month and discuss deck building, how to play, and trading cards. We will also have fun activities. Pokémon Club is for kids ages 6-12.
READ Dogs
Our Reading Education Assistance Dogs will be available for children toread to on the first Tuesday of the month. These dogs LOVE listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 701-838-0606.
Gingerbread House Workshop
Come anytime, stay for as long as you can or as long as it takes to make your masterpiece – all houses must be done by 6:00 pm. Children K-12 are welcomed to participate.
Kindness Knights
Kindness Knights is for children in grades 2-6 who are interested in learning about our community and volunteering their time to help local organizations. This month we will be making tie blankets for the Children’s Advocacy Center!
